roller dance classes

Cherri is the founder of Learn To Rollerskate YQL and a Level 1 Certified Instructor through SkateIA. She coaches the adult Roller Derby 101 program with the Lethbridge Roller Derby Guild and in more recent years learned to roller dance. Cherri has learned from rollerskating greats like Esther Molenaar (Netherlands), Chris Neima (Vancouver), Andrea Lynne (Victoria) and trains using video tutorials from the EsQuint Foundation, Richard Humphrey and more. She draws from her eight years of roller derby training and coaching to break down complex roller dance moves into a simple 3-step process to help you learn, while using repetition to build muscle memory and confidence. But her biggest motivation is she just wants to skate with you!
